Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Women's Underarms.

Most clients enjoy smooth, stubble-free underarms for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles and individual factors. Regular waxing can extend intervals and produce finer regrowth. We recommend scheduling every four to six weeks for optimal results.

Waxing involves brief discomfort as hair is removed from the root, but sessions are quick. Pain tolerance varies; many clients find it tolerable and less irritating than frequent shaving. We use soothing pre- and post-care to minimize discomfort and redness.

Allow hair to be at least one-quarter inch for effective removal, avoid exfoliating or using retinoids 48 hours prior, and arrive with clean, deodorant-free underarms. Communicate any sensitivities or medications to your technician for safe, tailored care.

Improper technique, inflammation, or aggressive shaving between appointments can contribute to hyperpigmentation or ingrown hairs. Our trained technicians use proper extraction, gentle care, and post-wax guidance to reduce risks. Regular exfoliation and patience with regrowth also help prevent complications.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy exercise, and scented deodorants for twenty-four hours. Apply soothing aloe or recommended ointments, and gently exfoliate after two to three days to prevent ingrowns. If irritation persists, contact us for guidance and follow-up care.

Certain skin conditions, active infections, recent chemical peels, blood-thinning medications, or pregnancy-related skin changes may require consultation. Always disclose medications and health history during booking. Our clinicians assess each client and may recommend alternative hair removal or a physician referral when necessary.
