Arrive with at least a quarter-inch of hair growth, exfoliate gently beforehand, avoid heavy lotions, and inform your esthetician about medications or skin sensitivities. Wear comfortable clothing to allow easy access to lower legs.

Waxing causes brief discomfort as hair is removed from the root, but pain typically decreases with regular treatments. We use techniques and numbing options to minimize discomfort. Shaving, by contrast, is painless but needs frequent upkeep and can cause irritation.

Most clients enjoy smooth lower legs for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. Results vary—touch-ups are recommended as hair regrows. Consistent waxing can extend intervals as hairs become finer and sparser over time.

Schedule appointments every three to six weeks based on your hair growth and desired smoothness. Your esthetician will recommend a personalized plan. Avoid shaving between sessions so hair has adequate length for effective waxing.

Avoid waxing if you have sunburn, open wounds, active rashes, severe varicose veins, or are undergoing certain treatments like Accutane. Inform us about medications, pregnancy, or skin conditions so we can assess safety and recommend alternatives if needed.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, and vigorous exercise for 24 hours. Apply gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers and avoid exfoliating for 48 hours. Use SPF on exposed skin and exfoliate lightly after 48-72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and maintain smooth results.
