Waxing discomfort varies but is generally brief and tolerable. Our technicians use quick, professional methods and calming techniques to minimize pain. Topical numbing can be applied on request, and breathing or distraction techniques further reduce sensation during the service.

Arrive with at least a quarter-inch of hair growth—roughly a grain of rice. Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before your visit, avoid oils or heavy moisturizers on the appointment day, and tell us about topical treatments, medications, or recent sun exposure.

After waxing, avoid hot baths, saunas, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours. Apply soothing, fragrance-free moisturizers and avoid exfoliation for the first two days. Regular gentle exfoliation after 48 hours helps prevent ingrown hairs and maintain smooth results.

Yes. Because waxing removes hair from the root, regular treatments and proper aftercare often reduce ingrown hairs. Combined with consistent exfoliation, hydrating lotions, and professional extractions as needed, waxing can improve skin texture and minimize bumps over time.

For best results, hair should be roughly one-quarter to one-half inch long so the wax can grip effectively. If hair is shorter we'll reschedule; if much longer we'll gently trim before waxing to ensure a comfortable service.
