Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about 24+ Month Retouch.

Our 24+ Month Retouch is for clients whose pigment has been in place at least 24 months. A consultation evaluates fading, skin changes, and desired adjustments, so we can recommend the ideal correction and color strategy.

We take a conservative, consultative approach: minor reshaping and refinement are common and done with your approval. Major design changes are discussed beforehand and may require additional sessions to ensure symmetry and ideal healing.

Fading varies by skin type, sun exposure, pigment used, and lifestyle. Many clients notice moderate fading after two years; the retouch restores depth and corrects uneven loss while assessing any necessary color modification.

Downtime is minimal but expected: mild redness, tenderness, and light scabbing for about 5–10 days. Most clients resume normal activities quickly, with full pigment settling visible after four to six weeks.

Avoid sunburn, tanning, retinoids, chemical peels, and intense exfoliation for two weeks prior. Disclose medications, avoid blood-thinning supplements, and arrive with clean, make-up-free skin for the safest, most predictable outcome.

Typically a single minor follow-up within 6–8 weeks is included to perfect color and shape. Additional or major corrective sessions may incur extra charges, which we’ll outline during your consultation.
