Avoid shaving or waxing for at least two weeks so hair is a quarter to half an inch long. Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before, arrive with clean skin, avoid heavy exercise and alcohol, and disclose sensitivities or medications.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on the first visit, but most clients find it brief and tolerable. We use hot wax, precise technique, and can apply topical numbing on request to minimize pain in sensitive areas.

Most clients enjoy smoothness for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth. Regular waxing weakens follicles and often lengthens intervals; we recommend maintenance every four to eight weeks for consistent results.

Common temporary effects include redness, mild swelling, and tiny bumps that usually resolve within 24–72 hours. Ingrown hairs or irritation can occur but are manageable with proper aftercare. Contact us for prolonged pain or signs of infection.

Consultation is recommended if you take blood thinners, topical retinoids, or have skin conditions. Certain medications increase bruising or sensitivity, so medical clearance may be needed. We can perform a patch test and tailor techniques for sensitive skin.

Keep the area clean and dry, avoid hot baths, saunas, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours. Wear loose clothing, apply soothing aloe or recommended post-wax lotion, and begin gentle exfoliation after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.
